WALL OF HONOR POLICY

Eastham Public Library

This plaque honors those who have supported the Eastham Public Library with exceptional service and dedication for a prolonged period of time.

The Board of Library Trustees will request nominations annually, in March, and they will be due by the first Saturday in April. At the April meeting of the Board of Library Trustees, a motion to name a nominee will be requested. If a motion is made, the nominee(s) will be discussed, and the Trustees will vote for placement of the nominee’s name on the Wall of Honor in June. A majority vote will be required.

The following additional criteria will be considered for each nomination:

• A maximum of two (2) honorees may be designated each year.
• Only those who have served without compensation are eligible.
• Only those who were residents of Eastham at the time of their service are eligible.
